臺北市政府觀光傳播局為落實媒體近用權,並鼓勵全民運用攝影器材或是手機拍出臺北的動人故事與美麗樣貌,捕捉臺北日與夜的精彩光景,如臺北之宮廟文化、夏日臺北映像等,辦理以「捕捉臺北光景」為主題的影片徵選活動。
In order to promote access to media and encourage the public to use photographic equipment or mobile phones to capture the moving stories, beautiful view of Taipei, or the exquisite scenery of days and nights in Taipei City, such as Taipei's temple culture and Taipei summer impression, the Department of Information and Tourism, Taipei City Government has organized the video awards named "Capturing Taipei's Scenery."
徵選主題Video Theme
參賽影片內容須與臺北有關,主題不限於單一內容,如:宮廟文化、夏日臺北、景點、生活、美食、交通等,內容、形式不拘,且須為未曾公開發表之原創作品。
The video content must be related to Taipei’s temple culture, summer impression, attractions, life, food, transportation, etc., while the video is not limited to a single content. The content and the form are not limited, and the video must be an original work that has not been published.
Video Specifications: 1080p (Full HD) 1920px X 1080px
Aspect Ratio: 16:9
Format:.mod、.mov、.mp4、.wmv
Video introduction: Please include the full title of the video, a a 50-word brief introduction of the team, and a 300-word video concept.
Team/participants are required to provide video in two formats:
1. Original video: the original video can display or without subtitles, open and closed captions,but business-related logos, watermarks, open and closed captions irrelevant to the video are not allowed to display.
2. Clean version of the video: the video does not display subtitles, open and closed captions, logos and watermarks.
If the video does not display voice-overs or captions in Chinese, please provide the Traditional Chinese subtitles.
報名須知Eligibility for registration & How to register
(一)報名資格:
本國民眾及在本國居住、就學、就業之外籍人士(需於報名時檢附相關證明文件)。
參賽者可以個人或團體名義參加。
每人每組可投稿多件作品參賽,但同一作品不得重複投稿。
Nationals and foreigners living, studying, or working in Taiwan (Relevant documents must be submitted for registration.)
Participants can participate individually or as a group.
Each person and each group can submit multiple works, but the same work cannot be submitted twice.
The registration is completed once the team/applicant fill out the application form and sign the Video Copyright Authorization Consent and Affidavit Form before the deadline. The applicants should provide the video’s private YouTube link and a Google Drive link where the video can be downloaded.
Please upload the original video to YouTube. Besides, the original video and the clean version of the video should be both uploaded to the Google cloud link.
The team/applicant with incomplete documents and failing to complete the documents within the required deadline after being notified will be deemed disqualified.
Videos that have been publicly published or exposed on various media or occasions such as the Internet and television are not allowed to submit.
All members of the participating team shall sign the Video Copyright Authorization Consent and Affidavit Form, and designate a team representative.
The video copyright belongs to the team/applicant. The Department of Information and Tourism, Taipei City Government has the permanent right to use the video free of charge for non-profit purposes, and the permanent right using the video bears no restrictions to time, regions and frequency. The Department of Information and Tourism, Taipei City Government can use video for the purposes of promoting the tourism and related businesses of Taipei City. The Department of Information and Tourism, Taipei City Government also has the right to use the video for non-profit reproduction, editing, publication, distribution, public broadcasting and public transmission (for example: uploading videos to YouTube channel of Video Awards or other related websites).
Videos that have been publicly published or exposed on various media or occasions such as the Internet and TV are not eligible for competition, and the organizer has the right to cancel the qualification of videos.
If the video uses another person's pattern, manuscript, portrait, or music, and involves relevant copyright rights, the team/applicant needs to obtain the copyright authorization and other supporting documents by oneself. In contravention of any copyright statute, all the relevant legal responsibilities should be borne by the team/applicant.
The organizer reserves the right to amend, vary and interpret the awards implementation. The organizer will not send any further notice to applicants if any changes of awards are made, please be noted to follow the latest news on the official website.
